Spanish I & II

Tammy graduated from Covenant College in 1995 with a BA in English and a minor in Spanish.  She spent several months living in Costa Rica where she studied Spanish further, and has also spent time in Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Puerto Rico for various business, educational and mission trips. She has over 28 years of experience teaching Spanish at various levels in private and homeschool settings, and has been with Hilger for the past 23 years, other than a 1-year hiatus. She loves helping students learn to share Jesus’ love by communicating with Spanish-speakers, and to see aspects of God’s world they may not have thought about. Tammy and her husband Mike have lived in Chattanooga for 23 years, where they raised their 4 kids. They have a daughter who is married and teaching 2nd grade, a daughter and a son in college, and a son who is a student at Hilger.
