Middle School Science

Natalie graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1998 with a B.A. in English and a lifetime teaching certificate in Texas for grades 6-12. She started her career teaching high school English, but in recent years has discovered how much she enjoys teaching in the middle school science classroom at Hilger. Relationships are Natalie's passion. She loves the energy, curiosity, and sense of wonder the middle schoolers bring to the hands-on labs and the privilege of teaching science as the study of God's creation. Some of Natalie's hobbies are collecting houseplants, studying nutrition, and enjoying exercise of any kind. Natalie and her husband, Benjie, who is the lead pastor of Grace + Peace (PCA) Church in Ooltewah, have three children.
