Katie Stanton grew up in Hershey, PA and was homeschooled for grades K-12. She moved to the Chattanooga area to attend Covenant College where she graduated with a B.A. in English with a Music minor in 2014. Later that year she joined the youth ministry staff at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church where she served as the Co-Director of Middle School Ministry for 6 years. In 2020, she married her husband Josiah and moved to St Louis where she continued to work in youth ministry until the birth of their twin boys in 2022. She and her family moved back to Chattanooga in January of '24. Katie is thrilled to be teaching at HHL. She loves students of all ages and is passionate about cultivating a lifelong love of learning that helps to shape each student's intellect, character and faith.
