Elementary Science

Kim graduated from Covenant College with a BA in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Upon graduation, she worked at Erlanger Hospital, as a chemist for the city of Chattanooga, and taught pre-K and science for 16 years. Kim loves to share with her students how all aspects of creation point to a Creator. It is a joy to see students wonder, discover and explore God's amazing world. Kim came on board with Hilger Higher Learning in 2009. She is incredibly nurturing with our elementary students, and her love for children is very evident. In addition, she creates a positive classroom environment with encouragement, excitement, control and a good listening ear. Kim and her husband, Brian, who is a retired professor from Covenant College, have three children.
