Bailee Cox
Elementary Immersive Program: 1st Grade
Bailee grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Covenant College. During her time at Covenant, she fell in love with Chattanooga and has called it home ever since. She began her teaching career at Silverdale Baptist Academy and has spent the past three years teaching 2nd grade at Lookout Mountain Elementary. With a passion for hands-on, inclusive learning, Bailee brings a personal understanding of learning differences like Dyslexia and ADHD into her classroom, helping students feel seen, supported, and empowered.
She’s especially passionate about helping students build confidence and critical thinking skills and is excited to join the HHL community. Bailee has also partnered with the Medal of Honor Heritage Center to create social studies lessons that highlight stories of courage and service. Outside the classroom, she enjoys traveling, biking, and cheering on her favorite baseball teams with her husband, Tyler. They are active members of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church, where Bailee serves in ministry with the middle girls youth group.
