Elementary Immersive Program: 2nd Grade

Tricia grew up in Ormond Beach, Florida and has served in ministry and education for over 25 years. She earned a B.A.E. in Elementary Education from the University of Florida with a specialization in reading and phonics instruction. She taught for several years in inner city Atlanta and loved serving and working in the community. She then earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis, MO where she met her husband Greg. After six years serving in Greenville, SC they moved to Chattanooga in 2015 and after serving in the local church for several years planted Woodlands Gathering PCA church in Soddy Daisy, TN. Tricia spent many childhood and college summers in Chattanooga and is overjoyed they are blessed to raise their family in such a diverse and beautiful city. Tricia and Greg have three children and have been homeschooling and serving in a local co-op/hybrid for ten years. Tricia loves teaching and developing lessons that celebrate God’s beautiful creation through outdoor exploration, ‘living books’, art, music, creativity and lots of fun! She is thrilled to be a part of HHL and is looking forward to partnering with you in your child’s educational journey!
