Taylor Woodruff
Director of Hilger Higher Learning
Taylor’s journey with Hilger Higher Learning began in 3rd grade and continued through his high school graduation, giving him a firsthand appreciation for the impact of HHL’s academic and spiritual community. After graduating cum laude from Lee University in 2018 with a B.S. in Public Relations and minors in Business and Communications, he launched his career in corporate communications at Volkswagen Chattanooga and later served as the Public Information Officer at the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office. He then moved into small business leadership as a director in the wellness industry.
Passionate about investing in the next generation, Taylor has previously served in worship and youth ministry within the Vineyard church movement and continues to volunteer as a camp counselor each summer at Camp Vineyard, a week-long Christian camp. He completed his graduate studies at Richmont Graduate University, earning a Certificate in Spiritual Direction—a ministry of listening, prayer, and discernment that helps people grow in attentiveness to God’s presence. Returning to HHL, Taylor considers it a great honor to help steward its legacy and is committed to cultivating an environment where students can flourish both academically and spiritually.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys traveling with his tiny camper, hiking, and living a lifestyle focused on health and fitness. He also loves performing in local musical theater, going to concerts with his friends, and caring for his pets and house plants.
