Description: In our day, perhaps more than in any other, Christianity faces fierce attacks from competing ideologies.  Sadly, many Christians, especially in their college years, come to doubt their faith as a result of these onslaughts.  Such doubts need not result, however, as Christianity possesses the evidential resources to withstand even the most serious intellectual assault.  We will survey a selection of these evidences.  Among what we’ll cover: arguments for the existence of God, the problem of evil, evidence for the reliability of the Bible, evidence for the resurrection of Christ, competing religious and non-religious views and religious pluralism.

This new format will allow a structured approach to encompass more aspects of a well-rounded music education.  Vocal repertoire, music history and appreciation, rhythm drills, sight-singing and music theory will be addressed each week.  Our retreats, performances and field trips are fun and very educational.  In addition to this, friendships are developed and strengthened through these activities.  Cultural appreciation for the arts is cultivated through attendance of concerts and musical presentations.  Several studies have confirmed that music directly enhances learning through increased spatial development. Math and reading are improved by learning rhythms and decoding notes and symbols. So there appears to be cross disciplinary learning in music."  (Source:  The College Board, 1991)
